The role of IT Officer include preparing Annual Training Plan for IT courses to strengthen the capacity of civil servants of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the field of Web, Networking, Databases and Microsoft Office. His role further extends to provide training environment to the nominees for developing their skills, coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities and developing & implementing IT policies, supervision, implementation of IT infrastructure, maintenance of official website, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of relevant hardware and software applications etc.
