The IT Officer supervises a staff of IT professionals and assists the Deputy Director-IT in the management of IT functions and systems as well as the delivery of IT services, also works collaboratively with the Deputy Director-IT to install, maintain, and support computer systems, networks and web. His role also includes Identifying the opportunities to improve and update software and systems, Running regular checks on network and data security, help organizations evolve by evaluating IT investments and identifying areas of growth in IT wing.
